Mark's moodboard response

  1. For my mood board i focused particularly on the feel of the song and the instant images that i felt when i began listening to the song and its lyrics. It is because of the lyrics that i felt of the idea to look at a particular character who is in a sense 'lousy' and for the video to follow the idea of the basis of the video to be centred around the one character who is possibly drinking on his own and generally demonstrating a 'village idiot' character. I also incorporated this into my locations that could amplify the chracters mood and emotional aspect of the video. The idea of a dingy, dark bar i feel would really be suitable for the video to start, followed by an outer location such as a high street at night i feel could create a good vibe to the audience were the character could 'find fimself' in a disorientated way and this is were i felt the pop art style could be used in a dreamy and colourful sequence which could end the video. Although i really like this idea i feel that performance shots would be really good to filter into the video, thay could also be intune with the songs video narrative of the change from depressed to a more serious mood. I am also struck by the Dizzee Rascal video for 'Sirens' and like the way the social issues were demonstrated through the videoon walls and in graffiti.
